Manufacturing Indonesia For Southeast Asia has a long history, exhibitors and visitors to the most international manufacturing exhibition, with more than 20 years of history. In terms of scale, it is the largest manufacturing exhibition in the region and the most professional manufacturing exhibition in Indonesia. It is one of the 20 major manufacturing exhibitions in the world.
With a stable political environment and a population of nearly 250 million, Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia. Among the G20 countries, Indonesia ranks second only to China and India in terms of economic growth, ranking third in the world. In the past decade, the bilateral trade between China and Indonesia has been growing rapidly. In 2013, China became the largest exporter of non-oil and gas products in Indonesia and the largest importer of non-oil and gas products. In October 2013, China and Indonesia jointly decided to elevate the relations between China and Indonesia as a comprehensive strategic partnership, promote all-round cooperation in various fields and conduct exchanges and cooperation on a higher level, in a wider area and on a bigger stage. In 2015, bilateral trade between China and Indonesia amounted to 54.227 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 11.5% of the total bilateral trade between China and ASEAN countries. From January to December 2015, China's top 5 exporters to Indonesia were machinery, electronics, steel, steel products and plastics and their products, with a total export volume of 16.63 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 48.4% of China's total exports to Indonesia. Among them, the machinery is the largest export products, exports amounted to 6.399 billion US dollars.
